Employment Types
- Full Time - An employee working 35 to 40 hours per week is entitled to all benefits.
- Part Time - An employee working 34 or less hours per week may be entitled to some benefits.
- Substitute - An employee that works when called to cover vacancies as needed has no benefits

Holiday Pay
Substitute and part time employees working on designated holidays will receive
1 1/2 times their normal salary for hours worked. Full time employees receive a paid
day off. The agency has 12 designated holidays per year, plus one floating holiday.
Paid Sick Time
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid sick time based on
their numbers of hours worked per week and status up to 6 days per year.
Paid Vacation
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid vacation time
Time calculated based on their number of hours worked per week and their position up to
12 days per year. After 1 year an employee will accrue an additional day for each
year of subsequent service until a maximum of 20 days is accrued.
Paid Personal
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid personnel days, up to 3
per year, time calculated on their number of hours worked per week.
Health Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for health insurance
benefits after 3 months of employment.
Dental Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for dental insurance
benefits after 3 months of employment.
Life Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for life insurance benefits
after 3 months of employment.
Disability Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for long
term disability insurance benefits after 3 months of employment.
Pension
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for participation in the
agency plan after 1 year of service.
Tuition Reimbursement
Full time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for up to 6 credits in any given fiscal year if agency funds are available.
Accidental Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week will be eligible for accidental insurance
Policy benefits after 3 months of employment.
