Recreation

The recreation programs offers a richly varied program that includes active and spectator sports events, cultural events, crafts, camping, hiking, square dancing, extended vacations and a host of other social and leisure time activities. Programs are held on Tuesday's, Thursday's, Friday’s and Saturday’s.

This program, locally funded, offers many opportunities for developing social skills, increasing self-esteem and self-worth and building friendships. It also provides respite for families.

Program participants receive a monthly newsletter that lists a calendar of events.

Thank You

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers who helped us with our June programs:

Thank you to Ken from Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation.  We so enjoyed our first project and look forward to many more.

Thank you to the ladies of the Hunterdon County Garden Club for helping us create beautiful flower arrangements.

Thank you to Kurt Lutz and Jerry Schaefer or helping with various programs throughout the month.

Thank you to Michelle McCarty for being our square dance caller.  Michelle has been volunteering her time for this program for 14 years!!!!    Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!!!

Your time and your dedication mean so much to so many!

Once again,

THANK YOU!

The Best Buds Club is collecting old cell phones that are no longer used.  Instead of allowing your old cell phone to end up in a land fill where it will remain forever consider donating it to The Best Buds Club.  They will send it to an organization that will either recycle the phones in an environmentally safe manner or refurbish the phones.  The refurbished phones are then donated to organizations to be used for emergency purposes.  A collection box is located at the main office.

Wishing you a safe and happy summer!
