The Arc of Hunterdon Board of Directors appoints

A new Executive Director

The Arc of Hunterdon County’s Board of Directors has appointed former Board President Jeffrey D. Mattison as its Executive Director, succeeding retiring Executive Director Gail Larkin.  Mr. Mattison had served on the Arc’s Advisory Council and Board since 1995 and as Board President since 2004.  Most recently, Jeff was Vice President and commercial lending officer at Yardville National Bank, having joined YNB in 2002.           

Mr. Mattison is a resident of Franklin Township, Warren County, where he resides with his wife, Patricia, and daughter Katie.  He has worked in Hunterdon County since 1984, when he joined Town & Country Bank.  Jeff moves into the non-profit arena after a twenty-eight year career in banking. 

His early focus will be on exploring means to educate the communities served by The Arc as to all of the services the agency provides.  In this way, Mr. Mattison hopes to see the County’s citizens and businesses embrace individuals with developmental disabilities and, as a result, support The Arc of Hunterdon and its work.  Jeff believes that by improving the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, we improve the quality of life for the entire community.
